what’s next

As soon as you are interested in booking a session, shoot me an email or give me a call. We will discuss all the specifics of what you are looking for with your photo session. Some things we will solidify are what type of photos you’d like (senior, family, etc), what location you are interested in, when is the best time for your photos, and what is included in your session fee. I book 4-6 weeks in advance, and I am booking as far out as needed (especially for weddings). Fall and spring weekend sessions go very quickly, and are often booked several months in advance, so it is never too early to get your session date reserved. Several packages are available that include digital files and prints.

Once you have your session booked, start coordinating your outfits and think about what your final plans are for where your new portraits will hang in your home. This will help you decide what colors and feelings your images will portray. When selecting your clothing: solids, midtones, and dark colors work best – avoid patterns or logos. For groupings, the color tones should be similar. The idea is to ensure everyone coordinates and no one stands out more than another; for example, one person wearing black and one wearing white. Once your clothing options are narrowed down, snap a picture and send it to me so I can prepare the location ahead of time based on the colors and style of your selections.
